Day 1 IRELAND - SAN JOSE
On arrival at San Jose you will be transferred to your hotel. Hotel: Doubletree Cariari by Hilton

Day 2 SAN JOSE -TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK
Head out through mountains and rainforests. Board a boat and begin your journey to Tortuguero National Park. (B L D) Hotel: Pachira Lodge

Day 3 TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK
Today, explore the Park on a boat cruise through the small canals. Watch for sloths, crocodiles, monkeys, toucans and hundreds of species of birds. From July-September, take an optional tour to see the tortoises laying eggs on the beach. (B L D)

Day 4 TORTUGUERO - SARAPIQUI
Head out via waterways and land to tiny Sarapiqui. The area is relatively unknown and home to some of Costa Rica's most diverse vegetation and wildlife. Your afternoon is at leisure. (B L D) Hotel: Centro Neotropico Sarapiquis Ecolodge or La Quinta Sarapiqui

Day 5 SARAPIQUI - ARENAl
This morning, the Alma Ata Archaeological Park reveals the country's pre-Columbian heritage. Then head towards Arenal. On the way, stop for a 'Be My Guest' lunch in a local family home. This is a wonderful opportunity to talk with the family, plus, students from a nearby school will entertain you with a dance show. Continue to Arenal, where you can thrill to spectacular views of one of the world's most active volcanoes and relax in the thermal mineral hot springs at Tabacon Hot Springs. Day 6 ARENAL - MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST
Head to Monteverde Cloud Forest. Upon arrival, the balance of your day is free to relax or begin exploring this beautiful area on your own. (B D) Hotel: El Establo Mountain Hotel

Day 7 MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST
Take a guided walk with a park naturalist through the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve this morning. Also included at your leisure is the Sky Walk, a chain of six suspension bridges above the Cloud Forest. Tonight, relish a Highlight Dinner in a local restaurant. (B HD)

Day 8 MONTEVERDE - LIBERIA - GUANACASTE
Transfer to Guanacaste beach and your seaside resort hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. (B) Hotel: Casa Conde del Mar

Day 9 GUANACASTE
A full free day. Relax on the beach, snorkel, or, perhaps join an optional excursion. Your choices include a canopy tour, horseback riding, a float trip and more. (B)

Day 10 GUANACASTE - DEPART LIBERIA
Transfer to Liberia Airport for your onward flight. (B)
