Lee Travel, under Declan O'Connell, first opened its doors in June 1975 in Cook Street, then moved onto 34 Oliver Plunkett Street, before settling down in 23 Princes Street in the early 1980's, then in 1998 we moved next door to where we are now in 24 Princes Street!
Our offices have 2 floors broken up into 5 different departments; Retail, Corporate, Cruises, Groups & lastly Honeymoons & Weddings Abroad! Lee Travel is lucky enough to operate independently, this means to you that we arent biased to particular resorts / products or destinations......we will sell to you to match your needs, not ours!
We are fully licensed and bonded through the Commission for Aviation Regulation. YOUGHAL
The Lee Travel Group took over MacDonalds Travel of Youghal in March 2009. While continuing to trade under MacDonald travel as it is known entensively through the East Cork region it is now managed by Siobhan Dinneen.
Siobhan was previously with MacDonald Travel and was only to delighted to accept the position as Manager, Siobhan is also a local of the area and is well known throughout Youghal. Started in March 2010 our Lee Travel, Ballincollig Shop is situated in The Square, just off Main Street (opposite the Shopping Centre)
The office is managed by Dympna Crowley, who was manager of Budget Travel Cork previous to this. Dympna has many years experience and is only to happy to share her advise and expertise with you!
Kerry McCarthy, formerly of Getaway Travel, is a local to Ballincollig (And a Kerry woman, but we'll let that slide!) She has been in the travel industry for a while now and is lucky enough to travel extensively as part of her career!
